NEW DELHI: Radical Islamic outfit Popular Front of India (PFI) is
aiming to convert Kerala into a Muslim majority state in the next 20
years, Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan said here Saturday.

"For achieving that goal, the outfit is pumping money to attract youth
and give them weapons. They also try to convert youth from other
communities and persuade them to marry Muslim girls," Achuthanandan
told reporters here.

The chief minister's statement came as his Left Democratic Front (LDF)
government intensified a crackdown on the outfit, whose activists have
been accused of chopping off one of the hands of a college professor
for allegedly making derogatory references to Prophet Mohammed.

Justifying the crackdown on the outfit, Achuthanandan said the police
is closely watching PFI's activities.The chief minister said the
outfit tried to create a clean image by organising freedom parades on
independence day.Various district administrations have already banned
the parade organised by the PFI every Aug 15, he said.

Sounding similar to the infamous 'Love Jihad' Propaganda,

something which had been a big fiasco for those who wished disruption of communal peace, which  just a few months back in time had been rejected with the deserving contempt not just by secular minded Leftists but also by people belonging to

the Hindu, Muslim and Christian faiths?

Clash of identities following communal profiling of Muslims,
 though has originally been created in order to have  the post 9/11 world in
the militaristic control of the  US led  neo liberal global
regime, is there indication that others too are following suit?

By the way,
what really is expected of the people of Kerala to do?
Don't they have any role than just being mute spectators/ passive
victims of these alleged efforts in proselytizing by fundamentalist elements?Lawless police actions, hate propaganda and communal profiling by the cops, media and political leaders only answers?
How real is your fear of 'them' becoming the majority in the next twenty years?
How can you assume that  that will happen,
 and that the people can't be trusted,
and they will bow down to the arms twisting religious fanatics,  
and that only your police can stop it?
Or, imagine it happens out of people's own volition.
Is it really good to stop it?
Or rather, can you stop it?
what difference will it make, as long as we remain bound by our secular constitution ?
Communal profiling and motivated actions against Muslims
(who are already around 26% of all Keralites by the way)
at whose behest, albeit in the name of combating terrorism ?
By the by, what about the role of  'majoritarian terrorists which has already been  already exposed by the investigative agencies?
In connection with many incidents such as  Malegav-Mecca Masjid - Ajmeer explosions ,Samjoutha Express Train bomb blasts, and the cold blooded 'encounter killings' of  Sorabuddin  and Kausar Banu, haven't the fascist and ugly face of majoritarinism  been betrayed?

How does your utterance about conspiracies by a particular Muslim organization to 
convert people of other faiths to Islam by  employing  money, love and arms match that of a communist leader and the elected Head of a state administration?
